- My original thoughts were to model a basic cyborg using only PS6 for modelling the gear, features and highlights, while drawing up the basic outline of the model in PSR/3DS. After I had the outline, I airbrushed the entire body, added my own highlights and added all of the gear and whatnot, using airbrush for 99% of the total work involved. After I got the base model completed [rough draft], I began on the background. Again the background is completely 2d, done with the work of airbrush and smudge. I then decided to carry-out an idea ive always been interested in, my own version of the digital matrix. The pods you see as well as the sedians (sp?) were all completely done in PS, again with the airbrush. They are done in groups, meaning I made 5-6 exact replica pods, then another group and attached them, basically done for variation. I wanted to make it seem 'everlasting' so I continued the pods going beneath the ground. as you can see the slightly faded regions. The background itself was an idea based on my own imagination, it's what I think the sky/atmosphere of an alter universe would look like in all its cataclysm. Much creativity went into this, as well as many new skillful methods attempted.
- I spent a lot of time on this as it was originally for a competition. Hopefully it was worth it. This breaks my trend of the usual abstract I was posting months ago, something fresh to introduce me back to devART. Ill have more alike coming very soon.
I would really like to acknowledge(sp?) the time you spent on it..i give you credit for the hard work and 99% ps work...
I really like the concept, but to me the overall piece fails as it sits on my screen...first the piece is too small and it's also very blurry in some areas. and all together the whole thing is unrealistic looking..somethings don't mesh with each other and some proportions are wrong.
but again the over all thought of this piece is what counts..and for that you are well talented...i just don't think you protrayed the piece the way it could have been...sorry man...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
